What's your definition of Wisdom?
Paraphrasing from one dictionary: Sensibility, caution, knowledge of truth and right, discernment, circumspect.
My definition: Using knowledge for its greatest benefit to all. Or: Expend least effort for greatest gain.
Our culture strongly encourages success, competition, consumption, religious persecution and so forth. Criticism of these values abound: shallow, selfish, petty. Wisdom is considered more of an art, an expensive luxury. And yet all this normal unwise activity demands a huger cost.
